Strongsville is situated in the southwest portion of Cuyahoga County, featuring the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks Millstream Reservation and a well-maintained small town atmosphere despite the fact that it is is also home to SouthPark Mall and many cul-de-sac developments.

The city has a business-friendly atmosphere. The Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce and other business organizations encourage and support new and existing businesses.


Stow’s Parks and Recreation Department is focused on fun and interesting recreational opportunities that enhance quality of life and promote physical health for its residents. The department offers several parks and rental facilities to enjoy, the Silver Springs Campgrounds, senior adult programs, youth/adult programs, and the Bow Wow Beach for dogs.


Golf enthusiasts frequent the Fox Den Golf Course and the Roses Run Country Club. Summit County Metro Parks Bike and Hike Trail runs through Stow and includes two entry lots – Springdale and Silver Springs.


Every year Stow offers special events including Concerts on the Green, Paint N Pours, parades, and holiday festivities. Stow residents enjoy the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.


The Stow-Munroe Falls school system has been designated an “excellent” district by the State of Ohio and is an integral part of the city. Stow students also attend Holy Family School.
