Sagamore Hills Township is situated 19 miles southeast of Cleveland with easy access to both Cleveland and Akron (about 30 minutes to each city) and all major highways. It is in the northernmost tip of Summit County and is a township so taxes are generally lower. Easy access to the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland MetroParks, the Summit MetroParks and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Route 82 is the main street thru town and nearby small farms offer weekly markets and CSAs. Greenwood Village and Eaton Estates are two of the larger planned developments. Residents shop at nearby Macedonia Commons or in Brecksville or Aurora. This is not a neighborhood of manicured streets with sidewalks but has a bit more country feel to it, with housing prices that accommodate first time home buyers to empty nesters.
