Moreland Hills is located in the rolling hills of the Chagrin Valley and is home to a portion of the Cleveland Metroparks South Chagrin Reservation providing opportunities for horseback riding, hiking, and picnicking.

Moreland Hills offers a variety of events through the “More in the Hills” series, which includes gardening classes, yoga, wildlife presentations, and family friendly events.

The majority of school-age children attend the excellent Orange Schools with a small percentage attending the Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools (both in the top ten systems in Cuyahoga County).

This suburb is the birthplace of America’s 20th President, James A. Garfield. The village has a replica of that cabin open to visitors in the summer months.
