Chesterland

Neighborhoods and Suburbs

Chesterland

Chesterland (part of Chester Township) is located in Geauga County and is centered by the intersections of US Rte. 322 and State Rte. 306 in the Chagrin Valley region. It feels much more rural than suburban but has all the amenities of a suburb.

Many homes sit on multiple acres and consist of mostly traditional housing options. Alpine Valley, a quaint ski and tubing area, takes advantage of the rolling hills and the fact that Chesterland is in the heart of the snowbelt. The excellent West Geauga Local Schools have small class sizes and are highly-ranked. A low property tax rate and income tax structure make this an appealing spot for those who don’t mind a slightly longer commute into downtown Cleveland and lots of snow in the winter months.
