Highland Heights

Neighborhoods and Suburbs
Highland Heights
Located less than 30 minutes east of Cleveland, Highland Heights offers both easy access to Downtown Cleveland and easy backroads commutes for those working in nearby suburban office parks. Safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, retail development, and parks all contribute to the quality of life in this community. Offices for many small and mid-sized companies reside in this suburb which is also home to a small regional county airport used for private planes.

Housing stock ranges from 1960s and 1970s bungalows, split levels, and colonials to new construction. Begun in the 1990s, the Aberdeen housing development has continually grown and added new homes that surround Stonewater Golf Club.
Highland Heights residents enjoy a fitness center, community pool, and robust summer programming for children and families through the parks and recreation department. Music @ The Gazebo is a popular summer concert series hosted by the city.
And opportunities are plentiful for biking and hiking in the nearby Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation.
Both the Richmond Heights and Mayfield branches of the Cuyahoga County Public Library are easily accessible, and Highland Heights students attend the highly-regarded Mayfield City Schools.
