Downtown Cleveland

Neighborhoods and Suburbs
Downtown Cleveland
Downtown Cleveland is the fastest growing neighborhood in the city and as such is highly desirable among those eager to return to a smaller footprint, have less yard-work and more walkable entertainment options. It is also one of the most popular neighborhoods in the region with easy access via foot, bike or free trolley to ballgames, theater, the lakefront, museums, restaurants and bars.

More than 16,000 residents call Downtown home, making it larger than some of the nearby suburbs. Most of the residential buildings that EA’s clients lean towards are former warehouses, office buildings or banks that have been converted into apartments and offer many amenities including: dog washing stations, concierge service and fitness rooms. They are mostly within a 10 by 15 block area of the city. Look for buildings in the Warehouse District, Public Square, The Flats (East Bank), the Theater District, 9/12 District, North Coast Harbor and the Gateway District. A great resource to check out is the website: downtowncleveland. Keep in mind, while buying a home in Greater Cleveland is often a bargain compared to bigger cities, renting, especially in highly desirable neighborhoods, is almost on par with the coastal cities, which often surprises newcomers.
