Community


Pepper Pike is part of the Chagrin Valley and just 12 miles east of Downtown Cleveland with easy highway access. The city is largely residential and offers a gracious, easy-going lifestyle. It holds summer concerts by its own community band, an annual ice cream social, fall clambake, and outdoor movies in the park.


Housing


Pepper Pike has many gently winding side streets and generous cul-de-sacs. Housing stock includes everything from townhouses to both traditional and contemporary homes to rolling properties on acres of land. Home prices range from the low $200,000s to well over $1M.


Amenities


Tucked away streets without sidewalks provide a sense of country living; but, in actuality, Pepper Pike offers many city amenities such as retail, medical, and recreational businesses as well as several financial institutions. Ursuline College and several places of worship are located in Pepper Pike. The Shoppes at Landerwood is the neighborhood center with specialty shops, restaurants, a hardware store, and two markets.


Parks and Recreation


Pepper Pike residents enjoy the amenities and programming of nearby Orange Community Education & Recreation and the beautiful  and intimate Pepper Pike Park.


Pepper Pike is the home of several world-class private clubs including The Country Club, Pepper Pike Club, and Cleveland Racquet Club.


Libraries


The closest branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library is the Orange Branch, which is conveniently located right across from the Orange Schools. The branch offers a cozy fireplace reading area, community meeting spaces, and an interactive children’s area.


Schools


Pepper Pike shares an excellent school system with contiguous suburbs: Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills, Orange, Woodmere, and portions of Solon and Warrensville Heights. Orange Schools consistently rank in the top ten in Cuyahoga County.
