Medina
The charming town square sets the scene in picturesque Medina. This city has Victorian homes, independent shops, and has seen a boom in new subdivision development over the past decade. Residents enjoy the lower taxes in Medina County, strong public schools, and a small-town atmosphere.

Residents enjoy both the Medina City Parks and the Medina County Park District. The city parks offer a wide selection of recreational opportunities and currently have 800 acres developed for park use featuring 14 parks, walking and multipurpose trails, over 16 miles of biking trails, playgrounds, and basketball, tennis, and pickle ball courts. A dog park, two community splash pads, and community pools are also available. The county parks include programming, parks, nature preserves, and wildlife sanctuaries.
For recreation, Medina offers strong youth and adult sports programs and the Medina Community Recreation Center throughout the year. Medina Library is available to residents and visitors and is one of six Medina County Library District locations.
Medina students are served by three public school districts that also serve students from other local communities: Medina City Schools, Buckeye Local Schools, and Cloverleaf Local Schools. Medina Township is different than The City of Medina. Township students are served by Medina City Schools and Highland Local Schools.
Medina offers plenty of shopping, dining, attractions, and community events for both residents and visitors to enjoy.
Fun fact: Medina is part of The Great Race, the country’s oldest, longest running, and richest vintage automobile event! It is a nine day, 2,300-mile adventure that begins in Warrick, RI, runs right through Medina, and finishes in Fargo, ND. On average, the race brings 120 vintage Great Race vehicles from all over the world to the Medina Square every June.
