Neighborhoods and Suburbs
Hunting Valley
The most affluent suburb in NE Ohio, Hunting Valley has a country estate feel and is just eight square miles with a population of roughly 700 residents. Located in the beautiful Chagrin Valley area, Hunting Valley offers rolling hills and steep gorges with luxurious, traditional style homes. Close to public parks, polo fields, and several private school campuses, it was established in 1924 and is home to many prominent Cleveland families.

With minimum lot sizes beginning at five acres and most homes in this suburb in the $1M+ price range, it not uncommon to see horses grazing in fenced-in pastures creating a bucolic setting. Children attend the Orange City Schools, ranked in the top 10 in the county. Daisy Hill, once a 500-acre country estate of the Van Swerengin brothers who developed Shaker Heights and the Terminal Tower is still one of the swankiest addresses in Cleveland.
