Elyria is the seat of Lorain County and a beautiful, historic town nestled between two branches of the Black River. Cascade Park is centered along the Black River and has a ravine carved by the same glaciers that formed Lake Erie.
Elyria has lots of green space and a charming downtown with a town square complete with a historic Civil War statue and cannon.
