Residents of Brunswick enjoys its robust parks and recreation offerings. It is home to 23 park sites covering 335 acres including community, neighborhood, and open space parks. The Brunswick Community Recreation & Fitness Center offers community events, exercise classes, and a pool. Several youth sports and a men’s softball league are available to residents.

The Brunswick community is home to the Brunswick Library, which is part of the Medina County Library System.

The students of Brunswick are served by the Brunswick City School District. Many students also attend St. Ambrose Catholic School.

Brunswick Hills Township is separate from the City of Brunswick and has different property tax rates. Township students are served by both the Brunswick City School District and Highland Local Schools.
