Brecksville
Located in the heart of a Cleveland Metroparks Reservation and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, one-third of Brecksville is parkland that offers rolling hills, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, trails, and more. The public square in the center of town provides the neighborhood with retail shops, restaurants, and a nearby cluster of historic century homes.

Community
Brecksville is conveniently located near access to three major freeways (I-77, I-480 and I-80/90 aka the Ohio Turnpike) while still feeling removed from the hustle of the highways.
The Brecksville Community Center hosts many special events during the year including: Valentine’s activities, the Boo-Ville Halloween Party, and Christmas Parade. Brecksville also hosts a Home Days celebration annually each summer with a concert series, trivia contents, and carnival rides.
The city has a Horticulture Department responsible for annual beautification projects and the Brecksville Community Garden.
Housing
Outside of the town center there are many contemporary developments of single-family homes and condominiums just a bike ride away. Brecksville housing offers a mix of sizes, styles and price ranges with colonial and Western Reserve styles predominating.
Amenities
While Brecksville offers a small and peaceful city vibe, within the city limits there are several large corporation headquarters or sizable operations as well as medical centers and branches for Cleveland’s MetroHealth system, Akron Children’s Hospitals, and Cleveland Clinic.
A much anticipated live-work-enjoy development is underway in Brecksville. In addition to the 600,000 square feet Sherwin-Williams R&D Center currently under construction, the mixed-use development at Valor Acres will include new offices, luxury units, condominiums, an upscale hotel, and retail and entertainment.
Residents enjoy easy access to Cleveland’s many cultural offerings as well as the local Brecksville Theatre which produces theatre and classes for the local community and beyond.
Parks and Recreation
Brecksville has excellent city services and an active parks and recreation department. Youth and adult athletic leagues are offered throughout the year at the Blossom Field House. Fitness classes, a variety of aquatic experiences, and child care are available at the Community Center. The center offers art classes, community theatre, and camp options for children.
Brecksville is the home of the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course, a public course named one of Golfweek’s top five courses in Ohio.
Libraries
The Brecksville Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library is located across the street from the Brecksville Community Center and the Kids Quarters playground area.
Schools
Brecksville shares excellent public schools with Broadview Heights, the adjacent suburb. These schools are consistently ranked in the top ten within Cuyahoga County.
